On May 11th, 2026, Mini Shai-Hulud, a self-replicating npm/PyPI worm orchestrated a major supply chain attack campaign in 2026, attributed to a group called TeamPCP. It’s a dead man’s switch malware that plants a watcher on your computer which nukes your home directory the moment you revoke your github credentials. Tanstack and mistralAI are some of the few packages affected (more listed here).

so the idea is that each node represent a guitarist. Each node connects to the other node based on the gear they use. Strong gear similarity signals a tight edge (connection). Weak gear similarity signals a loose edge. This would then create clusters of similar gear using guitarists there similar genre.

I want to extend this to tone topography but that isnt available though.

We’re at software 3.0 and we’re still making and designing more buttons. In 2026, chat interfaces are more productive than navigating through a new website which feels overwhelming. MCP and tool calling solved exactly this but its still not widely adopted, yet. Then there are things like this, which to me is nothing but a gemini wrapped demo tour.

This is how I use a clickety, buttony software:

Ask Claude, “How do I trim this video on Final Cut Pro”
Claude gives me the proper steps
I follow those steps by clicking buttons and opening menus.
