Website: https://gohugo.io

Written in Go, Hugo is an open-source static site generator available under the Apache Licence 2.0. Hugo supports TOML, YAML, and JSON data file types, Markdown and HTML content files, and uses shortcodes to add rich content. Other notable features are taxonomies, multilingual mode, image processing, custom output formats, HTML/CSS/JS minification, and support for Sass SCSS workflows.

Hugo makes use of a variety of open source projects including:

https://github.com/yuin/goldmark

https://github.com/alecthomas/chroma

https://github.com/muesli/smartcrop

https://github.com/spf13/cobra

https://github.com/spf13/viper

Hugo is ideal for blogs, corporate websites, creative portfolios, online magazines, single-page applications, or even a website with thousands of pages.

Bear

Bear

Website: https://bearblog.dev

There is a website obesity crisis. Bloated websites are full of scripts, ads, and trackers slowing your readers down every time they try to read your well-crafted content.

Bear is all you need to build a fantastic and optimized site or blog. It works perfectly on any viewing device. All you need to focus on is writing good content.

Bear makes it simple to publish content online and grow an audience while keeping pages tiny, fast, and optimized for search engines.

mini-shai-hulud

On May 11th, 2026, Mini Shai-Hulud, a self-replicating npm/PyPI worm orchestrated a major supply chain attack campaign in 2026, attributed to a group called TeamPCP. It’s a dead man’s switch malware that plants a watcher on your computer which nukes your home directory the moment you revoke your github credentials. Tanstack and mistralAI are some of the few packages affected (more listed here).

If you’re wondering, this is one of the many major attacks this year that has stirred up tech:

graph of fame

so the idea is that each node represent a guitarist. Each node connects to the other node based on the gear they use. Strong gear similarity signals a tight edge (connection). Weak gear similarity signals a loose edge. This would then create clusters of similar gear using guitarists there similar genre.

I want to extend this to tone topography but that isnt available though.

I want to create an obsidian like graph.

In 2026, chat interfaces are more productive than navigating through a new website which feels overwhelming. MCP and tool calling solved exactly this but its still not widely adopted, yet.
Then there are things like this, which to me is nothing but a gemini wrapped demo tour.

This is how I use a clickety, buttony software:

Ask Claude, “How do I trim this video on Final Cut Pro”

Claude gives me the proper steps

I follow those steps by clicking buttons and opening menus.

If Final Cut Pro had an MCP server:

Markdown Syntax Guide

For a quick cheatsheet, check out https://simplemde.com/markdown-guide.
